Cleaners & Kitchen Hands - Aged Care & Hospitals Rural

We are currently looking for Cleaners and Kitchen Hands located near Murray Bridge, Mount Barker, and surrounds. If you are looking for an immediate start and the opportunity to work across multiple sites, this role may be for you!


ABOUT THE ROLES:

As a Cleaner your duties will be:
• Meeting safety, quality, and hygiene standards
• Setting up cleaning trolleys
• Cleaning resident/patients' rooms and bathrooms
• Cleaning communal areas
• Restocking all cleaning and hygiene supplies
• Completing cleaning records
• High Touch Point cleaning

As a Kitchen Hand your duties will be:
• Setting up food and drink trolleys
• Serving/delivering meals and drinks
• Preparing texture modified food and fluids
• Preparing sandwiches and salads
• Recording accurate temperatures of food
• Washing dishes
• Maintaining cleanliness in service areas

REQUIREMENTS FOR ROLE:
• Minimum 6 months previous experience working in Health Care environments (Aged Care, Hospitals)
• Great communication skills
• Current National Police Certificate for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups less than 12 months old
• Current Working with Childrens Check
• Current flu vaccination 2024
• COVID vaccinations X 3
• Flexibility to work across mornings, afternoons & ON-CALL shifts
• NDIS clearance is highly advantageous
